Bioenergy research

Fuel for Life is the strategic research initiative on sustainable bioenergy at The Faculty of Life Sciences. Research, education and innovation are all part of the initiative.

Fuel for Life represents several departments at the Faculty of Life Sciences where a network of 50 researchers and PhD students work with biomass for energy.

Bioenergy research in Fuel for Life focus on sustainable bioenergy from plant biomass.

From plants to bioenergy
This international course is based on the premise that demands are set by EU and globally for utilization of bioenergy in transportation by converting lignocellulosic biomass into ethanol and other liquid energy carriers.
Make your student project on bioenergy

All departments in Fuel for Life offer B.Sc. and M.Sc. projects on bioenergy.
